House Bill 2303 is currently moving forward to the Senate, a piece of legislation that seeks to classify DFS as a contest of skill and therefore legal in Texas gaming law. This would be a huge victory for DFS – as Texas is one of the most populous states in the U.S. Until then, Texans are still free to play DFS without state interference.
